Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw confirmed as The X Factor judges
Two new faces join this year's judging line-up.
Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora will be judges on this year’s series of The X Factor, it has been confirmed.
The pair will take over from Louis Walsh – who stepped down from his role as judge after 11 series – and the Spice Girls’ Mel B.
Whilst BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Grimshaw is set to make his debut on the show, Ora - who was a mentor on BBC's The Voice earlier this year - previously appeared as an X Factor guest judge back in 2012.
"I am excited to be coming back," Ora said. "I had a ball here in 2012. This is a journey I can't wait to embark on to find some talented singers.
"It's the new generation taking over. Booooom."
Grimshaw added: "I love X Factor and have watched the series religiously since it started, so obviously I'm hugely excited to be joining the show.
"Music is my job and my passion and I'm really looking forward to seeing what talent we can find and nurture this year. I can't wait for judges' houses in Oldham!"
This year will also see Caroline Flack and Olly Murs replace long-running host Dermot O’Leary.

There was a season where Louis Walsh was not going to be a judge, but he was hired again, I think that the chemestry is not going to be the same without him :(

Really gutted that Mel B isn't making a return this year to tee judging panel. Thought she made a great judge, and certainly didn't hold anything back, which is what the show needed. Not so sure on the new additions, I feel that viewing figures will decline even more.
