The former X Factor contestant has revealed that while she’s happy to sell albums, it’s a big hit single she’s after. But as far as we can see, she’s already had three! We take a look at songs by other artists which matched Rebecca's chart positions, including Kylie, Beyoncé and Take That.

She came second to Matt Cardle on The X Factor and has had two Top 10 albums, but Rebecca Ferguson says what's really missing from her life is a “hit single”.

Promoting her new single All That I’ve Got, Rebecca told Digital Spy how it felt to be considered an ‘albums artist’ and that people outside the industry might not really understand that "some people sell an album rather than a single". People in her hometown of Liverpool always ask her how her singles are doing in the charts. "I'm hoping this charts well," said Rebecca. "I want a hit single now."

Well, Rebecca, as far we’re concerned, you’ve already had one – three in fact! Watch the video for All That I’ve Got before we take a look at Rebecca’s chart story. We reckon she’s had more hits than she might think.

Rebecca’s debut single Nothing’s Real But Love peaked at Number 10 in 2011, so that’s a Top 10 straightaway. Other records to get no further than Number 10 are Kylie’s Please Stay from 2000 and Beyoncé’s Naughty Girl in 2004, so she’s in very good company.

Rebecca followed that up with Backtrack, which peaked at Number 15 in 2012. That’s the same as Diana Ross & The Supremes achieved with Love Child in 1968 and one better than Madonna managed with Take A Bow in 1994. Both stellar tunes, we’re sure you’ll agree.

Rebecca’s most recent hit was 2013’s I Hope, which also peaked at Number 15. Maybe 15 is her lucky number! Did you know that Take That’s I Found Heaven, featuring Robbie Williams on lead vocals for the first time, also went no further than Number 15 in 1992? Like Rebecca, they had another stay at Number 15 to come too – Love Love peaked there in 2011.

We’ve got our fingers crossed Rebecca’s next single will be another hit to add to her three Top 40 singles and two top 10 albums!
