BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend 2025: line-up, location, tickets and more

BBC Radio 1 has added another batch of great artists to its Big Weekend 2025 line-up.

Mumford & Sons have been announced as the Sunday headliner of the three-day event, which will take place at Liverpool's Sefton Park from Friday May 23 to Sunday May 25 2025. They join Saturday headliner Sam Fender and Friday headliner Tom Grennan.

The folk-rock band said of their headline slot: "Liverpool, we really cannot wait to see you all at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in May. We’re counting this one as the start of the summer, and that can’t come quickly enough. Big thanks to Radio 1 for having us. See you soon, Sefton Park."

Other new artists added to the bill – and also performing on the Sunday of Big Weekend 2025 – include JADE, FLO, Tate McRae, Jorja Smith and Self Esteem.

Artists already announced for the Friday of Big Weekend 2025 include Biffy Clyro, Katy B, Nia Archives, Jazzy and local heroes The Wombats.

Meanwhile, the Saturday line-up is stacked with the likes of Myles Smith, Lola Young, Blossoms and Wet Leg. Myles said of playing the prestigious annual event: "Big Weekend was always a dream of mine, and to be on the line-up again is insane."

How to get tickets to BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend 2025:

Tickets to BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend 2025 are available to everyone, but on a geographically weighted basis: 50 percent will be reserved for those living in Liverpool; 40 percent of tickets will be reserved for those living in the surrounding areas; and the remaining 10 percent of tickets will be available for the rest of the UK.

You'll be able to buy them on Ticketmaster, the sole booking agent for the event.

When are tickets for BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend 2025 out?

Tickets will be available from 5pm on Thursday March 13, priced at £33 each plus a £4.50 booking fee per ticket.
