Pro Green clocks up one of 2011’s fastest selling Number 1 singles

Professor Green is on course to have one of the fastest selling Number 1 singles of 2011, based on first week sales.

Green, who topped this week’s Official Singles Chart in Wednesday’s Official Charts Update, has smashed the 100k sales barrier with his track ‘Read All About It’ (Feat. Emeli Sande), which puts him in ninth place behind Olly Murs and Rizzle Kicks’ ‘Heart Skips A Beat’ in the list of highest week one sales for a Number 1 single in 2011.

However, when the Official Singles Chart is revealed on Sunday, Green is expected to overtake Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’, Example’s ‘Changed The Way You Kissed Me’ and The Wanted’s ‘Glad You Came’ in the Top 10 list of the fastest selling Number 1 singles of 2011.
