P!nk has announced the release of a new single featuring her daughter Willow Sage Hart.

Cover Me In Sunshine will drop this Friday, February 12, and will serve as the first new release from the American superstar since her last album, 2019's Hurts 2B Human.

Announcing the new collaboration via Twitter, P!nk said the song came about as she "loves singing with her daughter" and because she "finds comfort in music."

"We have this song called Cover Me In Sunshine," she told fans. "We recorded [it] at home because it made us happy.

"So, we're going to put it out, because for no other reason than that we hope the song makes you feel happy."

At the end of the announcement video, a snippet of the new track can be heard, with Pink and her daughter singing over a propulsive acoustic beat.

"Cover me in sunshine," they say, "shower me with good times, tell me that the world has been spinning since the beginning and everything will be alright."

P!nk's last two albums, 2017's Beautiful Trauma and 2019's Hurts 2B Human both debuted at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart, becoming her second and third UK Number 1 albums.

Cover Me In Sunshine will be the P!nk's first single as a lead artist since 2019, but she did score her 34th Top 40 single last year duetting with country musician Keith Urban on One Too Many, which peaked at Number 40.
