Pink admitted to hospital with "dehydration" and "gastric virus" forcing her to cancel Beautiful Trauma tour dates
P!nk has been forced to postpone two live shows after being hospitalised.
The US chart-topping singer is currently in Australia, in the midst of the 41-date Australia & New Zealand leg of her Beautiful Trauma world tour. After cancelling a show on Friday (August 3) due to a chest infection, it has now been revealed that she has since been admitted, then readmitted to hospital.
Live Nation Australia & New Zealand shared the following statement, citing dehydration and a gastric virus for the cancellation of the previous event, and tonight's show in Sydney:
P!nk was criticised for cancelling the first show after paparazzi took photos of the What About Us star relaxing on the beach. Taking to Instagram, she wrote: "I scheduled this tour meticulously, trying to do what was best for my children, while also putting on the best and most physically demanding and beautiful show of my life.
"What these parasite paparazzi don’t show you, is two doctor visits in Byron on two consecutive days, antibiotics, steroids ... a screaming baby in the middle of the night. You can think whatever you want, it’s your right, but I have never taken advantage of any one in my entire life."
P!nk's latest album Beautiful Trauma reached Number 1 in the UK, becoming her first UK chart topper in nearly a decade. Click here to view Pink's full chart history.
