Pharrell's Official Top 20 biggest songs in the UK revealed
Pharrell's career is so remarkable that it's now been immortalised in Piece By Piece, a biographical documentary that tells his life story using Lego animation.
Well, Pharrell Williams (to use his full name) has always been one to think outside the box. As one half of innovative duo The Neptunes, he produced huge hits for Nelly (Hot in Herre), Justin Timberlake (Rock Your Body), Gwen Stefani (Hollaback Girl) and many, many more.
He also fronted the genre-blending rock band N*E*R*D, who scored a Number 5 hit with 2004's She Wants to Move.
But of course, he's best known as a solo superstar who has 19 UK Top 40 songs to his name, including massive collabs with everyone from Daft Punk to Snoop Dogg.
Before we reveal his Official 20 biggest songs in the UK, let's take a closer at the Top 3.

3. Blurred Lines (with Robin Thicke and T.I.)
Released: 2013
Official Singles Chart peak: Number 5
Total UK chart units: 2.6 million
Produced and co-written by Pharrell, as well as featuring him, this R&B banger enjoyed an enviable Official Singles Chart run – in fact, it spent five non-consecutive weeks at Number 1 and a total of 14 weeks in the Top 10. Blurred Lines has also attracted 1.68 million downloads – second in Pharrell's stellar discography only to Happy (1.97 million downloads).
2. Get Lucky (with Daft Punk)
Released: 2013
Official Singles Chart peak: Number 1
Total UK chart units: 2.9 million
It's no exaggeration to call Pharrell's team-up with Daft Punk and Chic legend Nile Rodgers (who supplies the instantly recognisable guitar riffs) an era-defining song. Released as the lead single from the French Duo's Random Access Memories album – an Official Albums Chart Number 1 – it spent four consecutive weeks atop the Official Singles Chart and won a Grammy for Record of the Year.
It's also an incredibly influential song that helped to kickstart the disco-funk revival that was still going strong seven years later with hit albums including Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia and Kylie Minogue's Disco.
1. Happy
Released: 2013
Official Singles Chart peak: Number 1
Total UK chart units: 3.9 million
Pharrell wrote, produced and performed this unstoppable soul bop from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack. Nominated for Best Original Song at the Academy Awards, it spent four non-consecutive weeks at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart and spawned an equally uplifting video that has been streamed 36 million times in the UK.
Oh, and in case you're wondering, when he instructs us to "clap along if you feel like a room without a roof", it's a metaphor for taking "one's space without limits". Thanks for clearing that up, Pharrell.
