Perrie Edwards' Tears: Little Mix star announces second solo single

Little Mix star Perrie has announced her second solo single Tears, revealing its artwork and release date.

Following the Top 10 success of her debut single Forget About Us, Perrie first teased her second solo track through a 'No Tears Hotline.'

Having already hinted at the song's title through sneaky Easter eggs across her socials, Perrie then invited fans to hear a clip of the single, released playlists of its reference points and called on her team to describe its sound.

In a clip posted on her TikTok, Perrie asked her team to sum up the song; with it being described using the terms 'summer barbecue,' 'vibey,' 'bad b*tch anthem,' 'boo-freakin'-hoo,' 'a bop' and 'emotional.'

Officially announcing the single on June 7 2024, Perrie's official social media account simply wrote: "Tears. 21st June."

Fans can also hear an exclusive clip of the single by calling Perrie's 'No Tears Hotline' and listen to songs that inspired it via two brand-new playlists on her official Spotify page.

This all comes after Perrie secured her first-ever Official solo Top 10 single with Forget About Us earlier this year.

At the time, Perrie told Official Charts: "Top 10, wow! I can't thank you enough for the love and support everyone has shown Forget About Us.

"It truly means the world to me!"

So, when is Perrie's second solo single released?

Tears is released June 21 2024 via Columbia.
