Perrie Forget About Us exclusive: "Top 10! This means the world to me"
Huge congratulations are in order for Perrie, who celebrates her first-ever Official Top 10 single as a solo artist with Forget About Us.
Already crowned this week's Official biggest Trending track, the Ed Sheeran co-penned Forget About Us is Perrie Edwards' first Top 10 outside of Little Mix; a brand-new entry at Number 10 on the Official Singles Chart.
Oh, and she couldn't be more chuffed with the news.
Speaking exclusively to Official Charts, Perrie says:
"Top 10, wow! I can't thank you enough for the love and support everyone has shown Forget About Us.
"It truly means the world to me!"
On her release week fan events hosted in London, Paris and Amsterdam, Perrie says: "This week has been mind-blowing. The support has been unbelievable, and being so close to my fans has been so, so special.
"I'm honestly feeling on top of the world!"
As a member of Little Mix, Perrie scored 19 Official Top 10 singles, including five Number 1s: Cannonball, Wings, Black Magic, Shout Out To My Ex and Sweet Melody.

This comes as Perrie releases the stunning Forget About Us music video.
Directed by Jake Nava, known for his work with actual Britney Spears and Beyoncé, the video was shot recently in Cape Town and features no less than 300 outfit changes*.
*Slight exaggeration, but there are a lot.

On her upcoming debut solo album, Perrie also works with RAYE; a collaboration she says happened 'organically.'
Speaking to Rollacoaster, Perrie explained: "Getting in the studio with her was ridiculous, she just oozes stardom, I can’t explain it. I think she’s one of the greatest artists of our generation
"I’ve been very lucky that the people I have idolised have been really nice to work with - there’s been no big egos or intimidating moments, I think that’s what made the experience so special for me."
