Olly Murs unveils Up music video, announces free Christmas EP

Olly Murs has released the music video for his new single Up.

The visual sees Olly and guest singer Demi Lovato trapped in a room and separated by a wall before tearing it down.

Up – officially released on December 21 – serves as the second single from Olly’s fourth studio album Never Been Better, which hit Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart in November.

The pair will perform the song together during this weekend’s X Factor final at London’s SSE Arena in Wembley. Other acts billed to perform are One Direction, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran and Meghan Trainor.

Meanwhile, Olly has also announced the release of a free Christmas EP titled Unwrapped, which he recorded on December 9 in front of an intimate audience at London’s YouTube studios.

"I'm delighted to be recording this EP for Google," Olly said. "I've recorded I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday, which is one of my favourite Christmas songs, and I really enjoyed doing an acoustic version of this with my band.

"There are so many good Christmas songs I could have picked, but this is a classic - I hope everyone likes it! I've also got acoustic versions of my last single Wrapped Up and some 'Classic Murs' thrown in there too!"

The collection, which also includes live renditions of four of his own songs, will be put out on December 12 exclusively through Google Play.
