Olly Murs tops Official Albums Chart for third time with Never Been Better
The singer’s fourth studio LP sold 93,000 copies to take this week’s top spot, 20,000 copies ahead of its closest competitor Ed Sheeran, who holds at Number 2 with X.
Olly told OfficialCharts.com: "So happy to have my album go straight in at number one and equally delighted to have single in Top 5 for second week running. What a weekend!"
The star’s previous chart-topping albums, 2012’s Right Place Right Time and In Case You Didn’t Know in 2011, have each sold over a million copies, having shifted 1.26 million and 1.08 million respectively.
Meanwhile, last week’s chart-toppers One Direction are at 3 with Four, Sam Smith’s In The Lonely Hour is at Number 4, and Pink Floyd’s The Endless River completes the Top 5.
New entries
David Guetta debuts at Number 8 with his sixth album Listen. The collection, which includes the singles Dangerous, Bad and Number 1 Lovers On The Sun, marks the French DJ’s third UK Top 10 album.
New at Number 13 is Susan Boyle’s sixth album Hope, and Boyzone’s Motown covers album Dublin To Detroit enters at 14.
Dave Arch & The Strictly Band’s Strictly Come Dancing album debuts at Number 22, and Jools Holland lands at Number 17 with his collaborations record Sirens Of Song.
Finally, Barry Manilow’s My Dream Duets is at 28, earning him his 14th UK Top 40 album, and Mary J Blige’s The London Sessions bows at 40.
