Olly Murs, Christine and the Queens confirmed for BRIT Awards Nominations Show

Craig David is also on the bill, while Emma Willis will host.

The first names have been unveiled for the BRIT Awards 2017 Nominations Show, a brand new televised broadcast on ITV.

Olly Murs - who is currently Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart - leads the the newly-confirmed names, with Christine and the Queens and Craig David also announced. More names will be revealed in the run-up to the event, which takes place on Saturday 14 January.

ITV will be broadcasting the event live from a primetime evening slot, and Emma Willis has been confirmed as host for the proceedings. Emma is of course, the sole host for The Voice UK and The Voice Kids UK's first seasons on ITV, the former due for transmission in early 2017.

Apple Music have been confirmed as this year's official streaming and download partner, and will present the Best British Female and Male categories.

Olly Murs commented on what should be a fantastic Saturday night event: "I’m excited to announce I’ll be playing at the BRITs 2017 nominations launch. Make sure you tune in to ITV on Saturday January 14th! I always love playing live and this will be a great warm up for my 24HRS tour next year."

The BRIT Awards 2017 with Mastercard will be broadcast live on ITV on Wednesday 22nd February from London’s O2 Arena, and will be presented by Michael Buble.
