Listen to the first snippet of Dizzy now.
It's official: Olly Alexander has revealed the song he will be taking to Eurovision in 2024 for the UK will be titled Dizzy.
Firing off an announcement this morning across his socials, Olly posted the single cover of Dizzy - which sees him on a swing topless - while also revealing the song's release date.
"Dizzy my new single coming March 1st," the caption reads. "I can't wait to perform this on the Eurovision stage...omg..."
And if all of that wasn't exciting enough, Olly's also just dropped the first snippet of Dizzy. Let's just say it's giving us Dua vibes...

Last night, in a video posted to both Olly's social channels and those of BBC Eurovision, he made a stunning (and very camp) cameo in a BBC weather report featuring none other than the queen of weather herself, Carol Kirkwood, where he very much hinted that an announcement regarding his Eurovision entry was imminent.
Sporting a very fetching new buzzcut, Olly had been dropping several hints about the upcoming track, which he's worked on with Danny L Harle (Dua Lipa, Caroline Polachek, Charli XCX).
"It appears there is a rare phenomena of dizzy spells," Olly said with his tongue firmly in cheek. "[They are] running towards our dear island and it appears they come all the way from Sweden."
"From what we can see," Olly continues, "there won't be an end to these dizzy spells for the foreseeable just yet, and no telling if they'll continue to go round and round or just eventually go back to the beginning."
Lyric hints, anyone??
We're expecting big, big things when the single finally makes its way for us. The BBC itself has admitted that they have 'huge' chart ambitions for Dizzy. It will be the first release for Olly under his own name since the dissolution of Years & Years, with who he achieved two UK Number 1 albums.
