Olivia Rodrigo makes it five weeks at Official Irish Singles Chart Number 1 with Good 4 U
Olivia Rodrigo is Number 1 on the Official Irish Singles Chart for a fifth week with Good 4 U.
The pop rock anthem outperformed its two closest competitors combined to rule the roost for another seven days, racking up 925,000 streams. Olivia has another two songs in the Top 5 for the fourth week in a row - Deja Vu at 3 and Traitor at 4.
Meanwhile, Doja Cat’s Kiss Me More ft. SZA climbs one place to return to its previous peak at Number 2 after five weeks away.
Gaining ground in the Top 10 are Eurovision winners Måneskin with I Wanna Be Your Slave, which flies nine places to 7. Plus Galantis, David Guetta & Little Mix hit a new high of 8 with Heartbreak Anthem, and British social media star Mimi Webb scoops her first Top 10 single with Good Without, up one place to 10.
New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde collects this week’s highest new entry at Number 11 with Solar Power, the title track from her upcoming third album. Solar Power is Lorde’s highest-charting song in eight years since her debut single Royals reached Number 1 in 2013.
Mimi Webb earns a second Top 20 hit this week with Dumb Love (15), ahead of Little Mix’s Confetti (17) and ArrDee’s Oliver Twist (19) which enter the Top 20 for the first time. This week’s joint-highest climber vaulting nine spots is Willow Smith with Transparent Soul ft. Travis Barker (26).
Doja Cat trailed her new album Planet Her last Friday with the release of new song Need To Know which debuts at 33, while two songs from US rapper Polo G’s new album Hall of Fame make Top 50 debuts – No Return featuring The Kid Laroi begins at 40 and Black Hearted makes an impression at 47.
Finally, American comedian Bo Burnham makes his first Official Irish Singles Chart appearance at Number 50 with Welcome To The Internet, a song taken from his new Netflix special Bo Burnham: Inside.
