Gecko (Overdrive) topples Ghost from Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart.

Ella Henderson’s two-week reign at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart has come to an end.

The X Factor contestant’s debut single, Ghost (Number 2 today), has been toppled from the summit by 19-year-old Dutch house producer Oliver Heldens and 20-year-old Worcestershire singer/songwriter Becky Hill with Gecko (Overdrive).

The track is Oliver’s first ever UK Top 40 hit, while it is Becky’s second Top 10; she reached Number 8 last year contributing vocals to Afterglow by Wilkinson. Becky has also worked with Rudimental and features on their Number 1 album, Home.

Sing by Ed Sheeran remains static at Number 3, while Example is new in at Number 4 with One More Day (Stay With Me). This week’s Top 5 is completed by George Ezra’s Budapest (5).
