It's a tough question, and one anybody would have to agonise over for quite a while, but we're never one to shy away from a challenge, so we asked you: What is your favourite album of all time?

With 60 years of the Official Albums Chart and well over 1,000 Number 1s – not to mention all the others that didn't make it that high – to pick from, you really are spoilt for choice.

The Official Charts team thought long and hard and picked their faves, but what we really wanted to know was which LPs you loved.

Here's a selection of what came in – strong photo game from everyone, btw. 😍

Plenty of brilliant choices there – a mixture of veteran classics and modern masterpieces. But for some of you, it wasn't easy…

There were loads more great suggestions – cast your eye over the #MyFavouriteAlbum hashtag on Twitter to see them all, and maybe add your own!

Watch music stars Lionel Richie, Olly Murs, Barry Gibb and more reveal their favourite albums to Official Charts:

Gilbert O'Sullivan's 'Back to front' is my favorite album and the first one i bought back in 1972.
I think he is one of the most underrated artists of our time.
I have all of his albums - Some good, some not so good.
