Myles Smith is Number 1 on this week's Official Trending Chart with prospective new Top 10 entry Nice To Meet You.

The perky folk-pop hit has undergone something of a renaissance in the New Year, experiencing a boom back inside the Top 40 in the post-Christmas flush, having originally debuted and peaked at Number 12 at the tail-end of 2024.

Now, Nice To Meet You is expected to become Myles's second- UK Top 10 entry on the Official Singles Chart, currently pacing to rise to Number 6 on Friday. Myles scored his debut UK Top 10 single last year with the pensive Stargazing, which peaked at Number 4.

Myles, of course, was named the BRITs Rising Star of 2025 - beating out indie-pop duo Good Neighbours and soul singer Almiene. Previous winners of the BRITs Rising Star include the likes of Adele, Sam Smith and The Last Dinner Party. Myles also recently placed fourth in the annual BBC Sound Of...2025 poll, which was won by Chappell Roan.

This week's highest new entry on the Official Singles Chart is likely to be the latest solo offering from JADE. IT girl will be sashaying its way directly into the Top 40 if all goes well - netting JADE her second solo Top 40 hit.

Her filthy new track Peggy (which has found fans in the likes of Ellie Goulding, who posted a TikTok miming along to its explicit-laden lyrics) has been slowly climbing the lower echelons of the Official Singles Chart for the last few weeks.

Latin superstar Bad Bunny (one of the biggest and most popular music acts in the world) could finally be looking forward to a big breakthrough in the UK this week. Sixth album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS (roughly translated as I Should Have Taken More Photos) is looking to become his first-ever album to chart in the UK Top 40. As such,two tracks from the LP are present on the Treding Chart; Baile Inolvidable and Nuevayol.
