Official Trending Chart: Doechii's Anxiety is UK's Number 1 Trending Song

The track - which samples Gotye's Somebody I Used To Know - was originally recorded in 2021.

Doechii's Anxiety is officially the Number 1 Trending Song in the UK.

The new viral track - which contains a heavy sample of Gotye & Kimbra's 2011 alt-pop classic Somebody That I Used To Know - was originally released as a cover on YouTube in 2021. It's release to streaming services comes from it taking off on social media sites such as TikTok (which have been instrumental to Doechii's rise as a future superstar in the last year).

Anxiety is expected to debut just outside the Top 10 this week, currently pacing for an entry at Number 11 on the Official Singles Chart - this week's prospective highest new entry.

Coming in at second place on this week's Official Trending Chart, Lady Gaga continues to spread MAYHEM, with album track highlight Garden of Eden pacing for a Number 18 debut come Friday. As it stands, Gaga is also still in the running for Number 1 this week with the dark-pop banger Abracadabra challenging Chappell Roan for Number 1.

Another act banking on a big debut this week with BTS idol j-hope, who has teamed up with R&B savant Miguel for new single Sweet Dreams. Right now, it's expected to become j-hope's highest-charting solo track ever in the UK.

Other new entries to keep an eye out for in the next few weeks include JENNIE and Dua Lipa (Handlebars), UK Eurovision entrants Remember Monday (What The Hell Just Happened?), David Guetta & Sia (Beautiful People) and Aitch (Straight Rhymez 2)
