Noah Kahan and Sam Fender, Benson Boone and more impact Official Trending Chart
Noah Kahan and Sam Fender claim the UK's Official Number 1 Trending track with their brand-new team-up Homesick.
A reworking of Noah's Stick Season album track, Homesick debuts atop the Official Trending Chart as it eyes the highest new entry on this Friday's Official Singles Chart. The single is expected to land at Number 3 this week, with Noah's Stick Season predicted to retain its Number 1 position for a fourth consecutive week.
Elsewhere, Washington-born singer-songwriter Benson Boone's latest cut Beautiful Things debuts at Number 2 on the Official Trending Chart. The 21-year-old star, who's amassed a huge social media following and auditioned for series 19 of American Idol before withdrawing from the competition, also looks set to claim a career-best on this week's Official Singles Chart; the track currently eyeing a Number 20 debut.
Becky Hill and Sonny Fodera's collaboration Never Be Alone is also a brand-new entry on this week's Official Trending Chart (6) as it tracks for the UK Top 40 (26), while David Kushner's Skin and Bones makes its Trending debut (9).
Kygo and Ava Max's Whatever, which interpolates Shakira's iconic 2002 hit Whenever, Wherever, is new in at Number 12, as Mumford & Sons and Pharrell's team-up Good People enters at Number 18.
Finally, Alok and Bebe Rexha's Deep in Your Love earns the pair a Top 20 Trending debut (20).
