Niall Horan set to release two new live albums to celebrate The Show tour
Niall Horan has announced the release of two very special live albums to celebrate his ongoing world tour.
Currently in the midst of touring the globe in support of his third solo album The Show - which hit Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart last year - the One Direction alum will issue not one but two very special live LPs to mark the occaision.
The Show: Live From Madison Square Garden will drop first (August 30) and commemorates Niall's two-night takeover of the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York, a hallowed tour spot for superstars like Lady Gaga and Harry Styles.
Then, on September 6, The Show: Live On Tour will drop, which will feature both the setlist for the Madison Square Garden shows, as well as content recorded along various stops in the tour, including London.
Both LPs will then be combined into a single vinyl release, The Show: Live on Tour deluxe, which will be released on wax November 22, and available exclusively for pre-order via Niall's website.
You can see details for pre-ordering the vinyl double album here.
Released June 9 2023, The Show became Niall's second UK Number 1 solo album, following 2020's Heartbreak Weather. His debut solo effort, 2017's Flicker, peaked at Number 3.
It was the sixth chart-topping album from a solo member of One Direction; following ZAYN’s Mind of Mine (2016), Harry Styles’ self-titled debut (2017) and Harry’s House (2022), Louis Tomlinson’s Faith in the Future (2022) and Niall’s own Heartbreak Weather (2020).
The Show's lead single, the rockabilly-influenced cut Heaven, peaked at Number 16 on the Official Singles Chart, becoming Niall's eighth Top 40 hit as a soloist.
As a member of One Direction, he previously logged four UK chart-topping singles; What Makes You Beautiful (2011), Little Things (2012), One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks) (2013) and Drag Me Down (2015).
Together, the five-piece - formed of Niall, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik, who departed the group in 2015 leaving them as a quartet - also topped the Official Albums Chart four times with; Take Me Home (2012), Midnight Memories (2013), Four (2014) and Made in the AM (2015).
The Show: Live from Madison Garden drops August 30, The Show: Live On Tour drops September 6, both via Capitol.
