New Releases: Stormzy, N-Dubz, Cian Ducrot and more
This week's biggest single, album and DVD releases, only on Official Charts
Leading New Releases today, Stormzy continues to keep us fed with his latest surprise release, Angel In The Marble.
Tracks for what should be Stormz's fourth studio album are shaping up nicely after a few months now; Angel In The Marble is released only one week after the chill, early 00s-inspired bop The Weekend, which had a guest verse from RAYE. This time, Stormzy takes to the mic solo, and the new track is accompanied by a lovely video filmed at his recent 30th birthday party (belated happy birthday to you, Big Mike).
After scoring her first Number 1 hit last year with I'm Good (Blue), Bebe Rexha is again teaming up with David Guetta for her brand-new single, One In A Million. Only this time, she's sampling a classic from David G's own catalogue, the inimitable When Love Takes Over, originally recorded with Kelly Rowland. Read more about the track in our Official Chat with Bebe here.
In other singles news this week, one of last year's big pop breakthrough acts, Dylan, puts her big pop girl pants on for her first single of 2023, Liar Liar, which sees her team up with Bastille (!) while Halle Bailey (who you may recognise as the star of Disney's recent The Little Mermaid live action remake, and through her activities with sister Chloe as part of Chloe x Halle) sticks her neck out for her debut single, Angel.
Meanwhile on albums, it's been a long while (since, like, 2010) that we've had a new album from N-Dubz aka Tulisa, Dappy and Fazer. After setting the stage for a timely comeback with Charmer, which became their 11th Top 40 hit last year, the trio are back together for fourth LP Timeless, which also contains previous singles February and Habibi. It's good to have them back.
Irish singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot finally got his dues with a massive 2022, netting two consecutive Top 20 singles with All For You and I'll Be Waiting. His debut album, Victory, takes time to soak up his achievements, while also making good on the promise of his breakthrough hits; melting emotionally devastating lyricism with some proper, scream-at-the-top-of-your lungs choruses, probably best exemplified by recent single Heaven.
