Welcome to New Music Friday, your one place to discover the biggest new song, album and DVD releases.

Let's get straight into this week's new singles.

What's that we hear coming over the hill - a possible Christmas Number 1 contender? Ed Sheeran is no stranger to success on the festive charts; he's one of the rare acts who has achieved the most sought-after chart-topper of any given year, the Official Christmas Number 1, more than once. He's actually reached the top of the festive summit twice; once with saccharine ballad Perfect in 2016 (bolstered by a remix featuring none other than Beyoncé herself!) and a second time with LadBaby and Elton John on their sausage-roll themed cover of Merry Christmas, Sausage Rolls For Everyone.

Now, does Ed have the Christmas Number 1 in his sights for a third time? Brand new single Under The Tree is an original composition, written for and featured in Richard Curtis's brand new feature for Netflix, That Christmas.

Another Christmas song to keep an eye out tomorrow is from BTS idol V, who has teamed up with vocalist PARK HYO SHIN for Winter Ahead, and next week we can look forward to V's much-touted modern update of White Christmas, featuring the late, great Bing Crosby.

Kesha may have started a Joyride earlier this year when, as an independent artist free from her previous contract for the first time in more than a decade, she really leaned in wacky extravagance, even popping up on a sleazy remix of Charli xcx's Spring Breakers.

Now, Kesha is in a more contemplative mood with the second single from her new album, due out sometime next year. Delusional is an emotionally-resonant synth-pop ballad, full of 808s and, yes, heartbreak.

"Baby, you're delusional," Kesha sings on its soaring chorus. "Thinking you could never find, something that's as beautiful, someone with a love like mine."

You tell him, sister!

As for albums this week, we have Garbage's exclusive Record Store Day Black Fridaty release, copy/paste, which sees the Scottish-American rockers cover hits by the likes of David Bowie and The Ramones.

Elswhere, new LPs come from Crazy P (Any Signs of Love) and a brand new EP from Cody Frost (Anatomy).
