New Music Friday Releases: Kasabian, Kesha, Quavo & Lana Del Rey, Eminem and more

Let's start with this week's singles.
Quavo recruits Lana Del Rey on his latest track Tough; a country-trap collaboration the pair have been teasing since May. Could it be our first indication as to the direction of Lana's upcoming Lasso record?
As he announces the release of his 12th studio album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), due July 12, Eminem teams up with Big Sean and BabyTron on latest cut Tobey. Eminem will be hoping to earn a 12th UK Number 1 with the tune, following the chart-topping success of Houdini.
Kesha marks her independence (quite literally - the track was released on Independence Day in the US) with JOYRIDE. The first single lifted from her upcoming sixth studio LP, it's also the first output released on her own label, Kesha Records. The singer was previously signed to Kemosabe Records, a label founded by producer and songwriter Dr. Luke.
Meanwhile, Will Young serves the euphoric title track of his forthcoming seventh album Light It Up, Snow Patrol release latest The Forest Is The Path single This Is The Sound Of Your Voice and German DJ Felix Jaehn enlists Sophie Ellis-Bextor on Ready For Your Love.
Morgan Wallen follows his recent Top 5 Post Malone collab I Had Some Help with Lies Lies Lies, AJ Tracey unleashes Bubble Bath and beabadoobee drops Ever Seen, the latest track from her upcoming LP This Is How Tomorrow Moves.
Now, onto albums.
Kasabian deliver Happenings; their eighth studio record and second as a four-piece, following the departure of former vocalist Tom Meighan in 2020. To date, the Leicester-formed group have earnt six UK Number 1 albums. Could Happenings become their seventh?
Zach Bryan capitalises on his recent UK Top 40 successes with brand-new album The Great American Bar Scene. The Oklahoma-raised country star's fifth studio LP includes the singles Pink Skies and Purple Gas, plus a Bruce Springsteen collaboration in the form of Sandpaper.
Elsewhere, celebrating five years since its initial release, Machine Gun Kelly (mgk) reissues his 2019 Hotel Diablo record with previously-unreleased material.
