New Music Friday Releases: Camila Cabello, Shania Twain, Imagine Dragons and more
Welcome to New Music Friday, your one place to discover the biggest new song, album and DVD releases.
Let's start with this week's albums.
Camila Cabello explores new sonic ground with fourth studio record C,XOXO. Including collaborations with Drake (on focus track HOT UPTOWN), Lil Nas X (HE KNOWS) and Playboi Carti (I LUV IT), Camila will be hoping to score a third Top 20 album with the hyperpop-skewed LP. Previously, the former Fifth Harmony star saw solo success with 2018 debut Camila (2), 2019's Romance (14) and 2022 release Familia (9).
Canadian country queen Shania Twain capitalises on her Glastonbury Legends Slot performance this weekend with a brand-new Summer Tour Edition of her Greatest Hits. Spanning Shania's illustrious career, the record includes such Top 10 smashes as That Don't Impress Me Much, Man! I Feel Like A Woman! and I'm Gonna Getcha Good.
Imagine Dragons deliver their sixth studio collection LOOM. Could the LP earn the Nevada-formed pop-rock outfit a sixth Top 10 album in the UK?
London rapper and singer Headie One will be hoping for a fourth Top 10 album with latest release The Last One, which includes collaborations with the likes of Aitch (Tipsy), D-Block Europe (Braided) and Stormzy and Tay Keith (Cry No More).
Elsewhere, Texas-born rapper Megan Thee Stallion drops her third record Megan, as Johnny Cash's posthumous album Songwriter sees a collection of self-penned 1993 recordings finally receive an official release.
Ahead of her Glastonbury Pyramid Stage headline set this weekend, Dua Lipa reissues her former chart-topper Radical Optimism with extended versions of each track.
Now, onto singles.
It's a big week for K-pop fans. BLACKPINK's LISA unleashes her latest solo single Rockstar, as BTS's Jimin delivers Smeraldo Garden Marching Band featuring South Korean rapper Loco; the first track from his upcoming second studio album MUSE.
The sun's out, and Jax Jones, Jason Derulo and Joel Corry are here to serve a potential song of the summer. The trio have teamed up on Tonight (D.I.Y.A) and - knowing their track record - it's bound to be a bit of a banger.
NIGHTS LIKE THIS might be having a viral moment, but there's no slowing down The Kid LAROI; he drops his brand-new single GIRLS this week. Meanwhile, Tinashe follows up her first solo Singles Chart entry Nasty with latest cut Getting No Sleep.
Lil Nas X returns with HERE WE GO!, the official soundtrack to Netflix's Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F movie and, finally, Mark Ambor follows his viral hit Better Together with brand-new single Our Way.
