Nelly Furtado announces new studio album The Ride set for March 2017
It will be the Canadian musician's first studio album for five years.
Nelly Furtado has announced details of her sixth studio album The Ride.
Her first studio album in five years, Nelly's new collection is scheduled for a March 31, 2017 release and features twelve tracks.
The Ride follows the 2012 album The Spirit Indesctructible. Her previous collection, 2006's Loose album, an album spawned the hit singles Promiscuous, All Good Things (Come To An End) and the Number 1 hit Maneater. Check out Nelly Furtado's complete Official UK Chart history here.

Discussing her new track Pipe Dreams, which is available to stream now, Nelly said: "It was kind of cool, because I'm super pop – I really gravitate toward pop melodies when I write – but John [producer John Congleton] is really interesting and might rearrange my pop song into more of a punk arrangement, nothing like what I would do."
Nelly's last appearance in the Official Singles Chart Top 40 was 2012's Big Hoops (Bigger The Better) which peaked at Number 14.
