Motley Crue announce last ever Final Tour dates including four UK arena shows

The iconic rock band will play their last ever set of shows later this year.

Motley Crue have announced their last ever run of shows.

The legendary rock band confirmed at a press conference today (June 9) that they will play a final 13 dates of The Final Tour across Europe, kicking off with four arena gigs in the UK supported by Alice Cooper.

The locations were based on fan demand via Facebook and Twitter, using the hashtag #DemandTheCrue.

Bassist Nikki Sixx said: "We're excited to come back to Europe with all the songs, bells and whistles and say goodbye during The Final Tour to the greatest fans in rock n roll."

The band kick off the stint of shows on November 2 at Newcastle's Metro Arena before heading to Manchester, Birmingham and London's Wembley Arena. 

After thirty-four years performing together, Motley Crue announced plans for their two year Final Tour by signing a Cessation Of Touring Agreement at a press conference in Los Angeles in January 2014, stating the end of their touring career as December 31, 2015.

Since the announcement the band has been touring the globe, most recently saying goodbye to fans in Sweden and Austria. 

The band have scored five Top 40s on the Official Albums Chart, their highest-charting being 1989's Dr Feelgood, which reached Number 4. View Motley Crue's full, week-by-week chart history here

Tickets are on-sale from 9am on Friday June 19, priced between £35 and £47.50. The full Final Tour dates are:

November 12 - Monte Carlo, Monaco Sporting Club, Monaco
November 13 - Munich, Zenith, Germany
November 14 - Düsseldorf ISS Dome, Germany
November 16 - Stockholm Ericsson Globe, Sweden
November 18 -  Helsinki Hartwall Arena, Finland
November 20 - Abu Dhabi Du Arena, United Arab Emirates
