After taking six weeks to rise to Number 1, the duo don't want to budge from the top spot.

Michael Ball and Alfie Boe's album Together has been selling like mince pies hotcakes, and that blazing streak of sales isn't showing any signs of slowing down.

The record has already been certified Platinum by the BPI recognising its sales of over 300,000, and so far this week, it’s shifted another 44,000 combined sales, putting Ball & Boe on course for a Christmas Number 1 album. Together is Alfie Boe's first UK Number 1 album and Michael's second - his first for 24 years.

Meanwhile, Elvis Presley's The Wonder of You is at 2 at today's halfway mark, while Little Mix's Glory Days is holding firm at 3.
