Michael Ball and Alfie Boe celebrate fourth collaborative Number 1 with Together At Home
Congratulations are in order for Michael Ball and Alfie Boe, who secure their fourth Official Number 1 album with Together At Home, their first release on Tag8 Music.
The duo’s fifth collection of love songs now joins 2016’s Together, 2017’s Together Again and festive 2020 LP Together At Christmas in their tally of chart-toppers. 2019 release Back Together peaked at Number 2.
Ball also boasts two solo Number 1 records, 1992’s Michael Ball and 2019’s Coming Home to You, with Boe claiming seven Top 10s.
Speaking exclusively to Official Charts, Michael Ball says:
“I can’t believe it, our fourth Number 1 album. Alfie Boe, I bloody love you!
“I want to say thank you to everyone who’s worked so hard to make this happen. Most importantly, I want to thank all the fans who’ve gone out and bought it and have loved it. That’s why we do what we do – we do it for you!
“This is an extraordinary bit of icing on the cake – I couldn’t be happier. It’s incredibly special.”
Alfie Boe tells Official Charts:
“We’re Number 1, I’m absolutely thrilled!
“Thank you to everybody that’s got us here, I couldn’t wish for better. I’m going to celebrate with fish and chips after this, I’m pushing the boat out!”
