Melanie C comments on Spice Girls reunion: "If there's only 3 of them, is it really the Spice Girls?"
The Spice Girls reunion should be all or nothing, as far as Mel C's concerned.
Melanie C has commented once again on a Spice Girls reunion, admitting she has "mixed feelings" about whether just three members of the group should reunite
Mel, whose new album Version of Me is released this Friday (October 21), spoke with The Sun's Dan Wootton on a Facebook live chat, touching on her favourite new album tracks and of course, the potential upcoming partial return of the Spice Girls.
The next incarnation of the iconic pop group currently features just Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Melanie Brown, with Melanie C and Victoria Beckham declaring themselves out of the 2017 project, rumoured to include a live show at Hyde Park.
Asked whether her new album campaign had anything to with her decision not to take part, Mel said: "I don't want people to think I made my decision on this record. I have been working on this album for three years and it was going to come out at some point anyway.
"People who are business minded out there might have thought 'you should have done the Spice tour and then raised your profile and released the record'. If this album wasn't as successful as we would like it to be, that doesn't mean I will return to the Spice Girls.

"I have totally 100% followed my heart, my instinct and my gut and I came to the conclusion that I didn't want to do a Spice Girls reunion at this time. I'm not saying it'll never happen in the future. You don't know what the future holds."
When questioned about whether Emma, Geri and Mel B's new project should sing Spice Girls' classic material, Mel replied: "I do have mixed feelings about it. The Spice Girls to me is like a jigsaw puzzle. If there's a piece missing, it's not complete. If there's only three of them, is it really the Spice Girls?"
Melanie's new album Version of Me, featuring the single Anymore, is released this Friday (October 21).

Mel C. has a very irritating voice. Even in the Spice Girls records every time she yells something I cringe. And Victoria Beckham has no voice whatsoever, so yes. GEM ARE the Spice girls and they always were. As for Mel C.'s solo projects, no-one really cares about them but herself.

nobody interests with mel's solo works

Did she think they were still the Spice Girls when Ginger originally left for a few years?

She thought a 4piece Spice Girls reunion was not good enough, so she forced the Spice Girls to become a 3piece... Brilliant. She's so full of herself. F**k her and her solo "career".

Im very very exited about the GEM, sorry Melanie but all your new songs are a bit boring

So according to Mel C fans are not part of the equation? Because fans are those driving this reunion... of course 5 is better than 3, but 3 is good enough for me..

If there's only three of them, is it really the Spice Girls?
Yes. It is. It's a celebration, it's about having fun. As a fan I can't wait to see what GEM willl bring to us.
