Max Max - Fury Road blasts the competition on this week's Official Video Chart
Watch out! Mad Max – Fury Road is heading for Number 1 on this week's Official Video Chart.
The post-apocalyptic action movie, which stars Tom Hardy, is the fourth installment in the Mad Max franchise and has already sold 111,000 DVDs and Blu-rays at the mid-week stage.

As well as being on course to be the first chart-topping Mad Max DVD/Blu-ray, this will be Warner Home Video’s fifth Number 1 title in 2015, following American Sniper, The Hobbit – Battle Of The Five Armies, Interstellar and Game Of Thrones – The Complete Fourth Season.
Elsewhere in the Official Video Chart Update, George Clooney’s Tomorrowland is new at 2, and former chart-topper Avengers - Age Of Ultron completes the Top 3.
With Christmas rapidly approaching, the gifting season is well underway, and two titles from Disney have re-entered the Top 10; The Lion King (8) and Beauty And The Beast (9). Meanwhile, while The Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid and Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs all hover just outside, at 12, 13, and 14 respectively.
Three chart days remain before the Official Video Chart is published on OfficialCharts.com at 7pm on Sunday.
