Matt Cardle and Melanie C team up for new single Loving You
2010 X Factor winner and Spice Girls star debut smoochy video for new duet Loving You.
Matt Cardle has teamed up with Spice Girls star Melanie C for his new single, Loving You.
The track, which is the first single from Matt’s as-yet-untitled third studio album, will be released in the UK on August 18.
"I met Melanie at the Isle of Wight Festival last year," said Matt. "I'm a big fan and I've always loved her voice. I had already started writing Loving You and I thought with a few changes it could work perfectly as a duet."
The pair teamed up with director Jonny Kight to film the video for Loving You earlier this month.

Chart Facts
Between them, Matt and Mel are part of a select club of just 137 artists who have managed to score a million selling single in British history. Between them they have three million sellers: Matt’s 2010 Official Singles Chart debut, When We Collide, and Mel’s 1996 singles Wannabe and 2 Become 1 with the Spice Girls.
Melanie C is also no stranger to duets: she teamed up with TLC’s Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes for her 2000 solo Number 1 hit, Never Be The Same Again, and with Jodie Harsh and her Spice Girls bandmate Emma Bunton in 2012 for the singles Set You Free and I Know Him So Well, respectively.
Her most famous duet, however, is her 1998 collaboration with Bryan Adams - When You’re Gone. Despite only reaching Number 3 in the Official Singles Chart, with over 717,000 sales to its name, it is the biggest selling solo hit by any member of the Spice Girls.
