Madonna's Confessions 2 album: release date, I Feel So Free single, artwork, tracklist and more
Confessions II serves as a sequel to Madonna's 2005 chart-topper Confessions On A Dancefloor 🪩
Time goes by so slowly between Madonna releases, but the moment is finally upon us. On July 3 2026, the Queen of Pop will unleash her 15th album, Confessions II.
Her first studio release since 2019's Madame X, the record once again sees Madonna team up with producer Stuart Price, the mastermind behind her chart-topping 2005 album Confessions On A Dance Floor.
Confessions II, as its name suggests, will serve as a sequel to that very record. Confessions On A Dancefloor birthed two Official Number 1 singles, Hung Up and Sorry, plus Top 10 hits Get Together and Jump.
Following a snippet of a brand-new track titled I Feel So Free, Madonna said in a statement:
"When Stuart Price and I first started working on this record, this was our manifesto:
We must dance, celebrate, and pray with our bodies. These are things that we've been doing for thousands of years - they really are spiritual practices. After all, the dance floor is a ritualistic space. It’s a place where you connect - with your wounds, with your fragility.
To rave is an art. It's about pushing your limits and connecting to a community of like-minded people.
Sound, light, and vibration
Reshape our perceptions
Pulling us into a trance-like state.
The repetition of the bass, we don’t just hear it but we feel it.
Altering our consciousness and dissolving ego and time."

The one and ONLY Queen of Pop returning to the dancefloor where she belongs. Can't wait to hear this. From the clip I've heard so far it's going to be insane.
