Ludovico Einaudi's Official Top 10 most streamed songs in the UK
Ludovico Einaudi is about to embark on a historic project that no composer has undertaken before. The Italian pianist and composer recently announced a new album series, called Seven Days Walking, that will see him release a new record every month, starting March 15.
Kicking off with Seven Days Walking: Day One, the albums will be available digitally each month, before a box set of all seven is released in the Autumn. The project follows 2015 album Elements, his first ever Top 20 album on the Official Chart - see Einaudi's full Official Chart history here.
Those who have never heard of Einaudi will have almost certainly unknowingly heard his work. His compositions regularly feature on silver and small screen, and such ubiquity has led him to become the streamed classical artist ever, racking up over 1 million streams a day globally. But which of his works are his most popular, officially, and where might you have heard them?
Einaudi's most streamed song in the UK is Nuvole Bianche, taken from his 2004 album Una Mattina. Translating as White Clouds, the song frequently pops up in TV and film, including 2010 horror movie Insidious (watch below) and TV shows This Is England and Ricky Gervais comedy Derek. To date, it's notched up 20.5 million plays in the UK, split across 14.5 million audio streams and 6 million video views.
Another popular Einaudi track is I Giorni, his only Official Singles Chart entry, landing at Number 32 in 2011. Its surprise Top 40 entry was thanks to Greg James, who played it as his "study break record" on Radio 1 which subsequently had an enormous response from listeners. You may also recognise it from a memorable Amazon Prime advert from 2016. I Giorni ranks as Einaudi's second most played song with 15 million streams.
Other notable entries in Einaudi's most streamed songs chart are Divenire in third place (12.5m streams), which often soundtracks notable moments in TV shows, most recently on ITV's Love Island, and Primavera in fifth (8.6m streams), which you may have heard in episodes of Top Gear and America's Got Talent.

Your headline says Ianaudi’s “…most streamed songs”.
Come on guys, a ‘song’ has lyrics. Einaudi composes instrumentals, not songs. Tunes even.
If this was Auto Express I’d understand, but you’re a music site!
