As temperatures continue to soar in the UK, so do the summer-iest songs on the chart. Making waves this week are Loud Luxury, who claim the Number 1 spot on the Official Trending Chart with their breakthrough hit Body.

The dance track has been scaling the Top 100 for the past ten weeks and is on course to enter the Top 10 on this week's Official Singles Chart, currently up 12 places to Number 7 in the latest sales flash.

Loud Luxury are Canadian-born, Los Angeles based production and DJ duo Andrew Fedyk and Joe Depace. In 2017, their remix Martin Garrix's Scared to Be Lonely gained them recognition and saw them snapped up by Armin van Buuren's Armada Records label.

Rapper Travis Scott is also making a big impact following the release of his new album Astroworld this week. Stargazing is proving the most popular of the set, followed by Sicko Mode. The artist's third record is set to debut inside the Top 5 on this week's Official Albums Chart.

Elsewhere, Robyn's long-awaited comeback single Missing U features in this week's trending Top 20, as does Bazzi and Camila Cabello's brand new duet Beautiful and Zayn's new Timbaland-assisted single Too Much.

About the Official Trending Chart

The Official Trending Chart is a brand new chart launched for 2016 to highlight the hottest new tracks beginning to make an impact in the UK every week.

The Top 20 rundown, published on OfficialCharts.com every Tuesday, based on the first four days’ sales of each chart week, is designed to highlight emerging hits as they begin to scale the Official Charts and build buzz.

The Official Trending Chart ranks titles which are showing week-on-week chart growth, and is the only “new music” chart to reflect audio track sales and streams comprehensively across all services.

Devised by the Official Charts Company in close consultation with labels, retailers and media, the chart since launch has already highlighted emerging hits such as Number 1 singles These Days by Rudimental, Eminem's River ft. Ed Sheeran, and Lil Dicky's Freaky Friday.

The chart is designed to help highlight hit singles in their early stages of their growth, in the light of the shift in release strategies of record labels over the past six months. Under “On Air On Sale”, labels have started to release new music for consumers to buy or stream on the same day as those tracks are released to media (including radio stations and TV).
