Casting a spell over the Official Chart, Lady Gaga’s gothic banger Abracadabra becomes this week’s highest new entry with just four days of tracking. It’s debut at Number 6 gives Mother Monster her 17th UK Top 10 hit. It’s the third consecutive Top 10 hit from the upcoming MAYHEM following Die With A Smile with Bruno Mars (2) and the industrial-pop rager Disease (7).

Following the release of Hurry Up Tomorrow, The Weeknd sees two tracks impact the Top 10; Timeless with Playboi Carti bounces up nine to a re-peak (7), while Cry For Me is a brand new entry (8). Further down, São Paulo with Anitta earns a re-entry at a new peak (21), having previously reached Number 22 upon release last year.

Following last Sunday’s Grammy’s, several tracks by big-time winners earn a lot of love from UK audiences. After scooping Best New Arist, Chappell Roan’s Pink Pony Club rebounds to Number 14, fresh off a win for Best Rap Album, Doechii’s DENIAL IS A RIVER runs up to Number 16, a brand new peak, while Record and Song of the Year winner, Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us re-enters the chart at Number 27.

Fresh off a triple Grammy win, Charli xcx’s former Number 1 hit Guess with Billie Eilish returns to the Top 40 at Number 31, while Benson Boone’s Beautiful Things (another former chart-topper) climbs back into the Top 40, up 13 to Number 33.

Finally, Aitch & Bou’s Raving In The Club breaks into the Top 40, rising 13 (40). It becomes Aitch’s 19th Top 40 hit single, and Bou’s third.

I wish the Top 5 would finally get a bit of action but the rest of the chart was fairly interesting this week.

Good to see 'Pink Pony Club', 'Denial Is A River' and 'Not Like Us' all getting a resurgence following the Grammys!
