Loah announces new single The Body to the Soul
It's the Irish-Sierra Leonean artist's first single release of 2021.
Loah has announced details of her new single The Body to the Soul.
The Irish-Sierra Leonean artist will release the track on Thursday April 29 in commemoration of Poetry Day Ireland. The track will see Loah recite a poem by Eva Gore-Booth set to music.
The track marks the Art-Soul singer's first single release of 2021. In late 2020, she dropped her collaborative EP Sweet Sorrow with Irish multi-instrumentalist Bantum, and released the standalone single Birthmark.

Also last year, Loah was part of the collective Irish Women In Harmony, who reached Number 1 on the Official Irish Homegrown Chart with Dreams, their Cranberries cover in aid of SAFE Ireland. The song also peaked at Number 15 on the national Official Irish Singles Chart.
Loah received rave reviews in October 2020 for her rendition of Thin Lizzy's Dancing in the Moonlight on RTÉ One's The Late Late Show, in tribute to the band's late lead vocalist Phil Lynott.
