Little Mix: Watch the video for their new single Word Up
Little Mix have roped in some of their celebrity pals for their Sports Relief charity single, Word Up.
Little Mix have posted the video for their forthcoming single, Word Up, online.
The track, which goes on sale in the UK on March 16, is being released in aid of Comic Relief offshoot, Sport Relief. The accompanying video sees Jesy, Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie exercising with a host of celebrity pals including Louis Spence, former Spice Girl Melanie C, Olympic gymnast Louis Smith and actor / comedian Chris Barrie.
Watch the video below. This year's Sport Relief will take place on March 21.
Chart Facts
Word Up is a cover of US funk group Cameo’s 1986 track. The original version peaked at Number 3 on the Official Singles Chart.
Scottish rockers Gun took it to Number 8 in 1994...
And Spice Girls star Mel B (then Melanie G) peaked at Number 14 with Word Up in 1999.
US nu-metallers Korn have also covered the track for their 2004 Best Of collection Greatest Hits, Volume 1. Their version of Word Up failed to chart in the UK but went Top 10 in Belgium.
