The follow-up to the successful first series, which relaunched careers of Atomic Kitten, Five and B*Witched, will air in 2014.
The rumour mill has been in overdrive, but now ITV2 has finally confirmed the final line-up for the second series of The Big Reunion – the show that brings back together bands from the ‘90s and Noughties to perform again and solve a few ‘personal problems’ along the way.
The first series saw Atomic Kitten reform with original member Kerry Katona, boyband Five regroup without badboy rapper J and also reunited 911, Honeyz, Liberty X, Blue, and B*Witched.
R*B girl group Eternal are on board for this second series of the hit show: Easther, Vernie and Kéllé are back together. Original member Louise Redknapp – who quit to go solo – has elected to sit this one out, however, so the group will take part as a threesome. Eternal had 12 Top 10 hits on the Official Singles Chart between 1993 and 1997, including Number 1 I Wanna Be The Only One, and scored four Top 10s on the Official Albums Chart. Their last single with Louise before she quit was 1994's Crazy.

Also signing up is boyband A1. They scored eight consecutive Top 10 hits from 1999. Two reached the top spot: a cover of A-ha’s Take On Me and Same Old Brand New You, both in 2000.
For the first time, a new supergroup of solo stars will take part. Gareth Gates, Adam Rickitt, Kavana, Blazin Squad’s Kenzie and Another Level’s Dane Bowers come together to form 5th Story.
Gareth Gates enjoyed seven Top 10 hits, including four Number 1s. His 2002 debut single Unchained Melody is his biggest seller – it’s clocked up 1.3 million sales. He has the most chart-toppers of all this year’s Big Reunion participants.

As part of Another Level, Dane Bowers managed seven Top 10s, including a Number 1, Freak Me. Alone, he enjoyed four Top 10s, including a Number 2 hit with Truesteppers and Victoria Beckham, Out Of Your Mind, which was beaten to Number 1 by Spiller’s Groovejet, featuring Sophie Ellis Bextor.
Adam Rickitt was the Coronation Street star who ditched soap for pop stardom, scoring three Top 40 hits – the biggest of which was his debut I Breathe Again, Number 5 in 1999.
Blazin’ Squad’s Kenzie managed six Top 10s, including a Number 1 with Crossroads in 2002, and Kavana enjoyed eight Top 40 hits from 1996 to 1999. He later resurfaced on Grease Is The Word, a reality show to find the stars of a new production of Grease. He came second.
Also included in the line-up for Big Reunion is R&B group Damage, who had nine Top 40 hits on the Official Singles Chart. Singer Jade Jones is also well-known for his very famous fiancée – she’s none other than Baby Spice herself, Emma Bunton.
Boyband 3T are also dusting off their matching outfits. The trio, nephews of pop legend Michael Jackson, had five Top 40 hits, kicking off with Anything in 1996.
Last but by no means least come Girl Thing, a five-piece who had a Top 10 hit in 2000 with Last One Standing. Their most famous song wasn't even a hit for them – proposed third single Pure And Simple was re-recorded by Popstars winners Hear'Say and went on to be a Number 1 and a million-seller. Girl Thing member Jodi Albert went on to star in Hollyoaks and married Westlife’s Kian Egan – who won ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! this year. Will Kian be popping up to give his wife some reality show tips?
