Lil Nas X continues to ‘sell what you're buying’ as Montero (Call Me By Your Name) reigns supreme at Number 1 on the Official Irish Singles Chart for a third week.

The provocative track was once more the most popular track with the Irish public in the past seven days, racking up a lofty 800,000 streams.

Chicago rapper Polo G claims his best chart placement ever in Ireland this week with Rapstar, which is this week’s highest new entry at Number 2. The track marks Polo G’s second Top 10 single of 2021 so far following his KSI & Yungblud collaboration Patience.

New peaks in this week’s Top 10 are logged by Glass Animals’ Heat Waves which is up one place to Number 5, plus Olivia Rodrigo’s Deja Vu also scales one spot to Number 8. Also in the top flight, Doja Cat scores her fourth Top 10 single with Kiss Me More; the Sza collaboration puckers up at Number 9.

British rapper Dave and American star Taylor Swift both earn two new entries this week. Surprise-released last Saturday, Dave’ Titanium shines at 12, while the Kamal-assisted Mercury debuts at 28.

Meanwhile Taylor’s pair of new entries are part of the rerecorded album Fearless (Taylor’s Version); Mr Perfectly Fine (From The Vault) lands at 15, with You Belong With Me (Taylor’s Version) bowing at 30. Love Story (Taylor’s Version) also re-enters the Top 50 at 25.

First released in 2016, Runaway by Norwegian alt-pop singer Aurora is new at Number 39 after going viral on TikTok, and finally, the new collaboration from Rag’n’Bone Man & P!nk titled Anywhere Away From Here starts out at Number 46.
