Lewis Capaldi has announced the follow-up to his UK Number 1 single Someone You Loved.

The self-deprecating Scotsman will release Hold Me While You Wait as the next track from his debut album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, which is released on Friday May 17.

Lewis is hedging his bets about having another big chart hit: "I'd be very surprised if we had another song in the Top 10," he told Music Week.

"We'll put out another song and if it doesn't go on to do what Someone You Loved has done, that's ok as far as I'm concerned because this was never meant to happen in the f**king first place. Don't ask for too much, let's not get greedy."

The publication also confirms that Bruises - originally released on Lewis' Bloom EP - "is due for another run out" later in 2019. Bruises reached a new peak of Number 53 on the latest Official Singles Chart.

Lewis' debut LP follows the release of his two Top 40 singles Grace and Someone You Loved, which was a seven week UK chart topper and is the fourth biggest song of the 2019 so far.

Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent is one of 2019's biggest upcoming albums, while the special red vinyl version is part of OfficialCharts.com's vinyl ones-to-watch.
