Lawson chat about new single Brokenhearted FT B.O.B.

Andy, Adam, Joel and Ryan are hoping to score their fifth Top 40 hit with Brokenhearted featuring Jessie J collaborator, B.o.B.

It’s been an amazing 12 months for Lawson, scoring their first Top 5 hit with When She Was Mine last June, and clocking up three more Top 40 singles AND a Top 5 album, too.

Now Andy, Adam, Joel and Ryan are back, hoping to score their fifth Official Singles Chart hit with brand new single, Brokenhearted FT B.o.B.

“We’re big fans of B.o.B.’s work with Jessie J, Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars,” explains Andy. “Brokenhearted is a bit of a revenge song, actually. It’s about never being better after a relationship, rather than suffering the blow that we usually write about.

“It’s influenced by Maroon 5, and Rob Thomas,” he adds. “So it’s a bit of a different feel for us.”
