The 14-track album will include Disease and Bruno Mars collaboration Die With A Smile, and sees Gaga as executive producer alongside Michael Polansky and Andrew Watt.
Individual producers on the record include Watt, Cirkut, and Gesaffelstein.
MAYHEM's third single will be released, alongside its music video, on Sunday February 2; airing during a commercial break at the 2025 GRAMMY Awards.

On MAYHEM, Gaga says:
"The album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved."
Gaga describes the creative process as like "reassembling a shattered mirror: even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something beautiful and whole in its own new way."

i thought disease was promoted as the album’s lead single? i was surprised to see die with a smile on the tracklist but that’s an album i can add to my most anticipated of 2025. i’ve always loved a bit of gaga no matter how much my taste has shapeshifted

Her itinerary (posted 3rd Sept) listed Disease at the lead single, but when it flopped she said it was DWAS, and then added it to her album (which is something she and her fans said she would never do). Now her fans have already started gloating because of the streaming numbers, so it'll be interesting to see how the other tracks fair in comparison. We all know Bruno is to thank for DWAS being a success. lol

i reckon die with a smile will be a bonus track because if the album is based on her early sounds and works around the sound of disease then dwas will be completely out of place. unless she can pull off sequencing it in there. i get why she'd add it though, it's too successful to not.
