The final single from Kylie Minogue's Number 1 album Golden has been revealed.

Music Week has confirmed that the fifth track to be released from the Pop Princess' sixth chart topping record will be the last, and is Music's Too Sad Without You.

The country-tinged ballad is a duet with Jack Savoretti, also signed to the same label as Kylie, BMG. The song was co-written by both artists alongside Samuel Dixon who has worked with the likes of Adele, Sia, Carly Rae Jepsen and Christina Aguilera.

Music Week has also disclosed that Music's Too Sad Without You will be promoted with performances on The X Factor, The Jonathan Ross Show, and Michael McIntyre's Big Show.

Golden's first-week sales surpassed those of Kylie's previous three albums The Abbey Road Sessions, Kiss Me Once and Kylie Christmas, and the LP is the best-selling 2018 release by an international female artist. The album and its lead single Dancing were big sellers on vinyl too, while Golden is the best-selling cassette of the year so far.

Lame. I was expecting "Sincerely Yours".
I'm not surprised though, her record company and her are making disappointing choices for singles for quite some time now.
The fact that this album sells better than "Kiss Me Once" is no feat since KMO sold very badly in the U.K. (with only 86 000 copies) but it was a much greater success worldwide nonetheless with 215 000 copies sold.
As for "Golden" it is said to has 114 000 copies sold in the U.K. alone but we have no numbers worldwide yet. I doubt it will outsold "Aphrodite" with its 435 000 copies or the smash "X" with its 634 000 copies worldwide though.
