Kylie Minogue announces first Las Vegas Residency shows
It will be her first time performing live in North America since 2011.
We hear it and we know - Kylie Minogue has just announced the details of her first-ever Las Vegas residency.
Following in the footsteps of Adele, Britney Spears and Shania Twain, Kylie will be settling down for a Residency on the Vegas strip, at The Venetian hotel's Voltaire nightclub.
It's come at the perfect time, given the (very deserved) surge in Kylie's popularity following the success of recent single Padam Padam, which became her first single to chart inside the UK Top 10 for 12 years earlier this summer.
Overall, these will be Kylie's first North American live shows since 2011 too. And plans certainly seem to have been in place for a while - one of the song's on Kylie's upcoming new record Tension is called Vegas High. We wonder why...

On plans for the Residency, at a press conference Kylie said: "I want it to be the kind of essence of what a Kylie show has become, enough glamour and abandon. I've got some versions of songs that have not been heard, like reinterpretations of songs, which is exciting. Live bed dances, amazing costumes."
Kylie also stated that the residency has come at the "perfect" time for her, as she never wanted to do it during the "sunset" of her career.
"I think I've got it right somewhere in the middle," Kylie elaborated, "where I feel like I've earned the right to and have the experience to really enjoy being there."
