For Kodaline's upcoming album, Politics Of Living, the band are aiming to dial their emotional folk-pop sound up to 11.

Helping them take things up a few notches is Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid, who serves as executive producer on the record. He recent work includes Rag'n'Bone Man's chart-topping debut, Ed Sheeran's Divide and Shawn Mendes' self-titled third album. Yep, we're talking big here.

No better is their stadium-ready folktronica sound on display than on Worth It, on which singer Steve Garrigan poses a series of existential questions - "Are you strong enough? Are you wise enough? Are you giving up? Will you disappear?" - before proclaiming "Is it worth it? I don't know" on the hymnal chorus, inspired by their 2016 collaboration with Kygo, Raging.

And where better to contemplate such questions than at the Initiation Well at Quinta da Regaleira in Sintra, Portugal? The band have shot a stunning one-take acoustic performance of the song at the majestic location.

Bassist Jason Boland told OfficialCharts.com: "Since the very first time we played in Portugal it's held a special place in our heart and become one of our favourite places to play. It only felt right to make a video in one of the most amazing locations in the country, here's Worth It from Sintra."

Worth It features alongside recent single Follow Your Fire on Kodaline's third album Politics Of Living, which follows on September 28. The band's European tour kicks off in Brussels on October 3 - full list of dates here.

Kodaline's previous two records reached Number 1 on the Irish Albums Chart and peaked in the Top 5 on the Official UK Albums Chart.

OfficialCharts.com recently spoke to singer Steve about teaming up with big pop producers on the record after he revealed the band scrapped an entire album last year.
