Kesha's Official Top 10 biggest singles revealed
Kesha. A name that conjures up one word: Bangers. Not the Miley Cyrus kind, but the glitter-throwing, two-fingered saluting IDGAF sort that only she knows how.
Over the past ten years, Kesha has delivered plenty of party starters, and after she faced some tough times, she returned with contemplative album Rainbow in 2017. Now, however, as Kesha herself says, she's "got her balls back" and returns with new song Raising Hell, taken from her fourth album High Road, which is out December.
To mark Kesha's boisterous comeback, we delved into the archives to find her biggest songs on the Official Chart. But did Tik Tok take the top spot? Where does Timber tumble to? Let's get into the numbers...

Your Love Is My Drug
"Do you wanna have a slumber party in my basement?". That joyous chorus. Your Love Is My Drug was Kesha's third single from her debut album Animal and reached Number 13 on the Official Singles Chart. It finishes a worthy seventh place on her countdown with combined sales of 284,000.
Praying
Kesha was an inspiration to many when she spoke out about her experiences in the music industry and the agonising court case against a former collaborator. Praying was something of a cleansing song, Kesha's way of moving on, and was her first hit in over three years when it peaked at 26 in 2017. It was great to have her back. With 315,000 combined sales, it's her sixth biggest song of all time.
We R Who We R
When it comes to waving your freak flag in pop, Kesha was a trailblazer. Frank, fearless and unashamedly fun, We R Who We R is peak Kesha. Speaking of, it also reached the very peak of the Official Singles Chart in 2011 – her first chart-topper all by herself, after Flo Rida collab Right Round in 2009. We R Who We R has notched up 454,000 combined sales to date.
Tik Tok
OK, so it may be hard to believe, but Tik Tok, Kesha's first release as a lead artist wasn't a Number 1 single! While it topped the charts around the world, Kesha's debut (back when she was still rocking the dollar sign as Ke$ha) peaked at 4 in the UK. Looking back at its chart run, it was released during the busy Christmas period and was holding its own against big singles from JLS, Cheryl Cole, Rihanna and Black Eyed Peas for a place in the Top 10 - no mean feat for your first release.
Regardless, Tik Tok is one of those songs that defined a more carefree time in pop music. With a whopping 1.05m combined sales, it's Kesha's second biggest single on her official countdown.
Timber
156 years from now, the world will probably be a very, very different place, but one thing you can be certain of is Timber being whacked on at the office Christmas party. It's a rowdy rodeo romp. A modern day Cotton-Eyed Joe. Nobody knows the exact origins of Cotton-Eyed Joe (research suggests it pre-dates the American Civil War, which started in 1861), but that doesn't matter, because people know it, and in the year 2175, the same will be said about Timber. Timber was yet another Number 1, hitting the top in early 2014 – a third for both Kesha and Mr Worldwide himself, Pitbull.
Helped along by 830,000 downloads and over 70 million streams, Kesha's collaboration with Pitbull has racked up 1.54 million combined sales, and is thus her biggest single in the UK. Fun fact: It took 16 people to write Timber, including Pitbull, Kesha and Kesha's mum Pebe.
