Kenya Grace aiming for first Number 1 with Strangers despite competition from casso, RAYE, D-Block Europe & Drake
It will be a tough week for Kenya to claim her first Number 1.
Kenya Grace is on track to top the Official Singles Chart with her breakthrough hit Strangers, as it lifts to Number 1 on the Official Chart: First Look.
It’s not a done deal however, with the Top 3 on today’s First Look separated by fewer than 600 chart units.
cassö, RAYE & D-Block Europe are close behind with Prada at Number 2, lifting two places after 48 hours.

Following the release of his brand new album For All The Dogs, Drake is also a contender for Number 1 as he’s set to debut three tracks in the Top 10; Virginia Beach (3), First Person Shooter ft. J Cole (6), and IDGAF ft. Yeat (6).
Sonny Fodera, MK and Clementine Douglas’s Asking is expected to rise into the Top 10 for the first time (7).
Billy Gillies & Hannah Boleyn could lift three (15) on DNA (Loving You).
Finally, alt-pop group Lovejoy are in the running to debut inside the Top 20 with their brand new single Normal People Things (17), which would mark their second Top 40 single.

How is ‘Disconnect’ still avoiding ACR?
Not complaining about it, but nine weeks in the Top 10 is a while for a song that never hit the Top 5.

Glad to see Mitski still holding on here despite the Drake album impact. :)

Absolutely loving this Top 2. Would be an amazing moment for dance music if ‘Strangers’ does reach #1 on Friday! 😊
