After a photo-finish end to this week’s race for Number 1, Kendrick Lamar comes out on top, securing a second week at the top of the Official Singles Chart with Not Like Us.
Last week, the buzzy diss track becomes k.dot’s first-ever UK Number 1 single, and during its second week at the top remains the most-streamed track of the last 7 days in the country (4.6 million streams).
After a bravura performance, Chappell Roan just misses out on her first UK chart-topper. Synth-pop anthem Pink Pony Club rises to a brand new peak of Number 2, with little over 1,300 chart units separating her from the top spot. Pink Pony Club becomes Chappell’s second song to peak at Number 2, following last year’s notable breakout hit Good Luck, Babe!
Following the release of her third album So Close To What, Canadian pop princess Tate McRae’s slinky sports car revs up to a brand-new peak (3). It’s her third Top 3 single following 2020’s you broke me first (3) and 2023’s greedy (3).
Tate also celebrates a sixth Top 10 single, with revolving door as this week’s highest new entry (10), while further down I know love with The Kid LAROI becomes her 11th UK Top 40 hit (25).
Lady Gaga’s Abracadabra ricochets back up three inside the Top 10 (4), as does Benson Boone’s former chart-topper Beautiful Things (5), with both acts blasting back into the Top 5, as Alex Warren’s Ordinary moves up three back into the Top 10 (8).
Following his record-breaking Number 1 debut on the Official Albums Chart, Sam Fender’s People Watching bounces back up 13 places (13), while Arms Length flies up 18 back into the Top 20 (17), and Little Bit Closer earns a Top 40 debut (24).
Aitch & Bou’s Raving In The Studio charges up 21 spots to a brand new peak of Number 22, while Selena Gomez, benny blanco and Gracie Abrams’s Call Me When You Break Up debuts at Number 28. It’s Selena’s 21st, Benny’s fourth and Gracie’s fifth Top 40 entry.
Imogen Heap’s Headlock jumps nine to a brand new peak (30), while Oasis’s Whatever earns a Top 40 re-entry following the release of a 30th anniversary vinyl re-issue (36).
BLACKPINK idol JENNIE earns the highest solo debut of her career thus far with ExtraL featuring Doechii entering at Number 36. It’s JENNIE’s fourth Top 40 entry, and Doechii’s second.
Finally, Irish rockers Fontaines D.C. celebrate their first-ever appearance in the Official Singles Chart Top 40 today, with It’s Amazing To Be Young debuting at Number 39. The band have previously logged three UK Top 10 albums, topping the Official Albums Chart in 2022 with Skinty Fia.
