Kendrick Lamar has announced the release of his new album...and it's coming sooner than you may think.

Announced via social media, Mr Morale & The Big Steppers will be Kendrick's fifth album, and his first full-length release since 2017's Damn.

The Compton-born rapper replied to a tweet complaining that Kendrick must have retired due to a lack of movement release wise. Kendrick just included a link to his Oklama website, where fans could then see the name of the upcoming album and it's release date - May 13.

Kendrick has teased before that Mr Morale & The Big Steppers could well be the final album he releases under long-time label Top Dawg Entertainment, even going so far as to call it "the final TDE album."
