Katy Perry's UK tour support act confirmed as Hailee Steinfeld

Katy Perry is bringing along a fellow pop powerhouse to open her Witness UK arena tour dates.

Hailee Steinfeld, who has scored two UK Top 40 singles so far in 2018, will join Katy on her entire UK leg of the Witness tour, which will hit seven cities in June.

"I'M COMING FOR YA U.K.! Finally. 😻 Can't wait @katyperry x", said Hailee on Twitter. It's going to be a busy time for the emerging star, as she will be supporting Charlie Puth on his US tour the following month for the entire summer.

2018 has been an imperessive year so far for Hailee. Following her debut single Starving with Zedd & Grey peaking at Number 5 in 2016, she has spawned two further Top 40 hits this year; Let Me Go with Alesso ft. Florida Georgia line and watt, and Capital Letters ft. BloodPop.

In addition to her massive Witness tour of Europe, Katy Perry has big things lined up this year too. She will be joining Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan as judges on the revival of American Idol, which kicks off next week.
